We need an experienced problem solver. TOREM is looking for a Paid Social Account Manager to join our fast-growing team. This person must be a motivated self-starter with a desire to lead on strategy and execution in paid media channels for some of the world’s leading brands. This role requires paid social media experience to create and manage campaigns on the client’s behalf. This person must be detail oriented, with the ability to think creatively and act quickly.   • Manage a campaign start to finish with minimal supervision.
  • Daily management of campaigns, including optimizing performance
  • drivers and providing concrete, actionable recommendations based on data and trending.
  • Creative and launching new ads and campaigns using third party tools.
  • Daily monitoring and reporting of campaign trending.
  • Identifying and recommending new targeting based on technical capabilities of platform pixels and platform reach.
  • The candidate has a holistic understanding of the entire paid social ecosystem and how each platform compliments one another.
Experience & Qualifications
  • 1-3 years of experience managing paid social campaigns
  • Solid understanding of paid media tools (Marin, Ken shoo, etc.)
  • Experience with paid social platforms a must: Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and other emerging platforms.
  • Advanced knowledge of trend and tools for paid media technology, self-serve advertising, as well as SEM and display a large plus.
  • Proficient in analytical tools such as Google Analytics, Facebook & Twitter Insights, etc.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the in house Graphic Designer is responsible for the visual identity associated with internal and external marketing and communications campaigns. As the Graphic Designer you will be creating net new artwork for new marketing campaign development, and have an eye for improving the flow of existing material that may or may not have only required re-skinning and branding, in an effort to ensure that every TOREM piece is experienced in a manner reflective of our brand. This is a full time permanent role, located at 240 Richmond St W, Toronto, ON M5V 2C5

  • Accountable for the visual identity development or enhancement of net new and existing marketing pieces across TOREM business including designing email templates, developing net new campaign artwork, various types of branding from packaging to merchandise design etc.
  • Make creative direction recommendations in alignment with integrated business plans that span multiple channels (online: social media, digital advertising, web, email)(offline: print material in various forms)
  • Manage third party resources in cases where we may work with agencies or freelance graphic designers on a per project basis, providing creative direction, managing budget expectations as well as internal SLA.
  • Experience with Adobe creative cloud/suite

Salary: $45,000-$75,000 depending on experience and expertise

As our WordPress Web Developer, you will:
  • Edit, maintain, and update responsive web pages.
  • Improve the quality, usability, and feel of our web properties.
  • Implement redesigns on existing WordPress sites.
  • Work with the Marketing team to implement digital marketing strategies on all websites.
  • Work along with the IT team to implement improvements to our SaaS platforms.
  • Ensure all websites are SEO optimized.
  • As our WordPress Web Developer, you must have:
    • 3-5 years of experience developing websites; HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and APIs
    • You have experience under your belt maintaining and updating WordPress websites and working with WordPress plugins.
    • You have experience with WP Engine Hosting
    • You are all about building visually appealing and easy to use interfaces for responsive websites.
    • You have solid knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS.
    • You’re all about the details!
    • You’re constantly plugged in to emerging technologies/trends and apply them to your day to day operations.
    • You take initiative and own your work. We move quickly around here, and although we’re a close-knit team, you’ll thrive if you’re self-motivated and able to prioritize a variety of responsibilities on your own.
    • Proven track record of successful development and maintenance of websites and web-applications
    • You’ve used JavaScript to create interactive elements on web pages
    • An understanding of the benefits of SEO and the development skills to support SEO
    • Exposure to Google Tag Manager, Google Search Console are an asset
    • Exposure to marketing automation tools such as Hubspot / Marketo, and/or Adobe’s Creative Suite are an asset
    • Excellent creative problem-solving skills and an experimental approach. Each task has a hypothesis to be tested, evaluated and improved upon
    • You love to stay updated on new standards, technologies, and trends in website development, design and delivery
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with fellow team members
    • You’re great at time management, which lets you meet deadlines, work under pressure and multi-task with ease
    • You have a strong distaste for spaghetti code
    • Develop, maintain and debug all ATS’ websites, including new features and functionality
    • Recreate specifications, ensuring responsive design, with HTML and CSS across multiple operating systems, browsers, and devices
    • Monitor web traffic and ensure that the website is prepared to meet traffic demands and performance expectations
    • Configure WordPress, add and modify templates, web pages, forms, and upload media
    • Manage and maintain integration of third-party applications and servers

    What You’ll Be Doing

    Content Writers on TOREM team write, edit and proofread content in English for and affiliated websites. Working with an agile team of strategists and design experts, you’ll craft engaging, compelling sales and marketing copy, product information, and copy for online tools like calculators. You’ll also author content in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM).

    • Craft a story: You have excellent writing and editing skills, of course, with a conversational tone and a flair for clear, plain language. (Is passive voice hated by you? Yes? Good!) You can weave cohesive storytelling into our pages and see how your content supports a larger strategy. If you understand accessibility and search engine optimization, and have experience writing for financial institutions, all the better.
    • Communicate with confidence: You use your powers of communication and consultation to speak to your content with authority. Your solid interpersonal skills are a must for collaborating with diverse project partners like subject matter experts, user experience and visual designers, translators, developers and external vendors.
